QUICK-CFD: Quicklime sensorCFD™ AI module

for computational fluid dynamics (CFD) modeling of your data center based on real-time sensor-value inputs with AI analysis - pricing is based on rack count

Quicklime

Quicklime is best-in-class data-center infrastructure management software (DCIM).

Quicklime is a powerful and versatile centralized monitoring and management platform for complex infrastructures. Designed for mission-critical environments, it provides comprehensive modules with AI powered analytics for data-center infrastructure management (DCIM), video surveillance and sensorCFD.

Monitor all your deployed sensors, intelligent PDUs, backup power systems from a single user interface. 3D data center visualization, rack mapping, capacity planning, asset tracking and more.

With Quicklime you can create customized desktops that drill down from a data center view to an individual rack, or asset in a few clicks. Sensor data feeds into assets for granular insights into each assets power, environmental, security or network status. Integration with third party sensors via popular protocols such as Modus, Bacnet, SNMP and MQTT.

sensorCFDsensorCFD™
AKCP sensorCFD™ is an AI-driven, real-time data center airflow modeling software that combines traditional computational fluid dynamics (CFD) with live sensor data to optimize cooling, identify hotspots, and enhance energy efficiency. It offers a Digital Twin of your facility, allowing for continuous, accurate monitoring, unlike traditional static CFD models.

sensorCFD is an add-on tool for Quicklime. Use it as traditional CFD modelling of your data center with predictions of performance and airflow. Add in AKCP sensors and you have sensor constrained CFD modeling with actual values and performance data.

AKCP sensorCFD performs a CFD analysis of your data center utilizing live sensor data as the input. This sensor constrained model more accurately simulates your data centers airflow, cooling capacity and efficiency.

Data Center Energy Optimization
QuicklimeData center optimization focuses on improving the efficiency, performance, and sustainability of data-center facilities. Typical strategies involve optimizing airflow through computational fluid dynamics (CFD) analysis, which simulates air movement, temperature distribution, and heat transfer within the data center to identify hotspots, inefficiencies, and optimal layouts for racks and vents.

CFD models are used in the design phase to test various configurations such as adjusting aisle containment, fan speeds, or placement of perforated floor tiles. Quicklime incorporates CFD tools that can be used at the design stage, but more importantly, during operation.

sensorCFD is a sensor backed CFD analysis for accurate, near real-time optimization. sensorCFD is an iterative process, where sensor data feeds into the CFD model, the results are then analyzed using advanced AI tools, which produces recommendations for improvements. These are then implemented and validated through further simulations. Up to 10% energy reductions can be achieved through this process.

sensorCFD creates the CFD analysis based on live sensor data. Connecting the sensor data and asset mapping of Quicklime it generates a CFD analysis of your facility. The results are fed into an AI analytical tool that produces a report with suggested problem areas and improvements. An Energy report is also produced that calculates estimated energy savings and a coefficient of performance (COP) of your data center.

It is here where the true value of Quicklime can be found, where energy is saved and the software becomes more than simply a monitoring and management tool, but an asset that provides a return on investment.

Efficient Energy Usage
Efficient use of cooling, check for cold spots in your data center. Areas that are over-cooled or under utilized. Improve your energy efficiency, reduce operational costs.

AKCP sensorCFD performs a CFD analysis of your data center, utilizing live sensor data as the input. This sensor constrained model more accurately simulates your data centers airflow, cooling capacity and efficiency.

Through the analysis of multiple sensors per rack a model of your data centers thermal capacity is generated. Identification of stranded capacity, over cooled and under utilized cooling units enables proven energy savings.

Quicklime Thermal Risk MonitoringThe ultimate Thermal Risk Monitoring
Quicklime sensorCFD AI helps meeting ASHRAE recommendations for data center operating temperatures. It helps protect IT equipment from high temperatures, monitors for hotspots in your racks with cabinet rack maps, and alerts with AI-assisted computational fluid dynamics based on sensor values, providing detailed insights and thermal risk analysis.

Software Updates and Support
Software updates and support are included with the license for one year. Optional Quicklime annual maintenance (to continue receiving software updates and support after the first year lapses) is also available.
