Simply by switching from Extension mode to Matrix mode, the GCMS1922 will allow you to work on projects and applications across two different machines without missing a beat.

In Extension mode, like traditional KVM switches, you can extend the content of one PC across the two connected displays. While Matrix mode allows you to view both computers simultaneously by having the content from each computer on each of the connected displays.

Toggling between modes is easy. Whether you use the mode button on the front panel of the GCMS1922, the included wired remote, or hotkeys, the GCMS1922 will become the ideal tool for the multi-tasking user.

Crossover Switching

Audio Mixer for Multi-Tasking Operations
While multitasking, sound can serve as a helpful alert to improve response time and productivity. The Audio Mixer feature can combine two audio sources to one output or focus on a specific audio input regardless of which computer is currently being used.

Built-in USB 3.0 Peripheral Sharing
Control up to two additional USB 3.0 peripherals (like a hard drive, printer, scanner), between two computers at an impressive speed of up to 5 Gbps. Need to transfer or copy files from a hard drive to just one computer? Simply disconnect the USB peripheral from the KVM port switching function. This will allow you to transfer/copy files with the connected USB peripheral on one computer while working on a different project with the other computer without disruption.
