CAB-DVI2HDMI-LCK-06MM: Copper based HDCP compliant DVI to HDMI locking cable
Gefen's DVI to HDMI locking cable features a thumb-screw on each connector, used to secure the cable to connected equipment.
When you need a robust and reliable connection, a locking DVI to HDMI cable is your insurance policy. Due to HDMI's small form factor it is prone to signal loss and intermittency in active environments. A locking cable solves this problem entirely, giving you a crystal clear picture you can count on every time.
DVI to HDMI Cable/Adapter adapts from DVI style connector to HDMI style connector. The DVI to HDMI Cable/Adapter lets you connect an HDMI (Male to Male) cable to a DVI (Male to Male) cable. The maximum recommended length of both cables combined is 60 feet.
High-Definition Multimedia Interface HDMI™ uses a new HDTV connector which is much smaller and user-friendly than the DVI connector, providing the ability to view high quality content on all HDTV displays and projectors.
The HDMI specification handles all HDTV resolutions of uncompressed video and up to eight channel of digital audio, all enclosed in one simple cable and HDMI connectors.
Converting from HDMI to DVI does not degrade video quality, since the DVI specification is set to support a higher bandwidth for computer and high definition (HD) resolutions. The HDMI specification is set to support only HD resolutions (i.e. 480i, 480p, 720p, 1080i, 1080p, 4K 60 Hz 4:2:0, 4K 30 Hz 4:4:4).
