ILPM-16A: In-line power meter, 16A
with a 9.8 inch (25 cm) power in/out cable with bare ends

An in-line power meter goes between the electrical source and the PDU or individual appliance, monitoring voltage (V), current (A) and kilowatt-hours (kWh) being consumed.
An in-line power meter allows you to identify power hungry equipment with billable grade accuracy and remotely switch devices on and off.
Alerts can be sent via an email or SNMP trap.

Using an in-line power meter removes the controller from your power strip and allows you to use a low cost basic power strip. This gives several advantages, in addition to the cost savings:
• A single IP address to monitor multiple cabinets
• Hot swappable controller, no downtime to cabinets if servicing is needed
• More space for outlets on your power strip as the controller is moved out of the 0U space
• As future needs increase, just change the power strip no need for new controller and power meter
An in-line power meter is essential for:
• Checking how close you are to tripping your circuit breaker
• Ensure sufficient power overhead before adding new equipment to a circuit
• Billing individual clients in co-located services
• Monitoring up to 16 in-line power meters from a single sensorProbe+ monitoring appliance
Optional Latched Relay
An optional latched relay (power switch) can be ordered to be internally integrated with this in-line power meter (see listing below), to be used to remotely turn the power on and off. The relay can be set to be either normally closed, normally open or bi-stable.
The latched relay does not require constant power to maintain its position. This has a couple of advantages:
1) It uses less power and generates less heat
2) The relay retains its current state (regardless of whether it is receiving power or not) and is not affected by sensorProbe+ monitoring appliance being rebooted
Features and Benefits
• Monitor and switch an individual appliance
• Monitor complete power strip, turn a power strip into a smart PDU
• Graph power, voltage, current parameters
• Receive alerts if electrical parameters exceed your pre-defined thresholds
• Shutdown power automatically if over voltage, over current, or smoke detected
• Optional thermal maps (purchased separately - see listing below) for complete rack monitoring -by connecting a thermal map to the in-line power meter, the two sensors are combined into only one sensor-port connection on sensorProbe+ monitoring appliance
• Optional smoke detector for patent-pending fire suppression
• Optional LCD display
• Bare end wires as standard
• Optional plugs (instead of bare end wires)
• 100~250 AVAC input
