Vertiv™ Avocent® server interface module is a CATx "dongle" designed to drastically reduce cable bulk while interfacing between a server/computer and a Vertiv™ Avocent® KVM switch, supporting video, keyboard, mouse, CAC, virtual media and USB 2.0.

SFIQ-VGA is a low profile IQ module supporting VGA video and USB keyboard/mouse. With a detachable 12-inch USB cable used for keyboard, mouse, CAC and virtual media, SFIQ-VGA lends itself to a reduction in cables and therefore less clutter in the data center.

The IQ module connects to a server/computer by means of a video connection and a USB connection.

The IQ module connects to the KVM switch through a single user-supplied CATx cable (4-pair, up to 150 feet).

The IQ server interface module draws power from the server and has Keep Alive functionality that keeps your server working properly with or without connectivity to the KVM switch.
