MPUIQ-SRL: Interface module for serial device 

Vertiv™ Avocent^® serial interface module is a CATx "dongle" designed to drastically reduce cable bulk while interfacing between a serial device and a Vertiv™ Avocent^® KVM switch.

The IQ module connects to a serial device by means of a RJ45 connection (or a DB9 connection via adapter) and an USB connection for power.

The IQ module connects to the KVM switch through a single user-supplied CATx cable (4-pair, up to 100 feet).

The IQ module is powered by a supplied USB power-barrel cable that gets connected to the serial device's USB port. An external power supply (UPD-IEC) that can support up to 4 MPUIQ-SRL units is optionally available (see below).
