SM-MST DisplayPort KVM switches - DisplayPort version 1.2a compliant devices - are KVM switches that allow a user to access and control two or four dual-head DisplayPort computers from a single USB keyboard/mouse and four HDMI monitors supporting extended desktop.

SM-MST DisplayPort KVM switches convert each DisplayPort 1.2 input signal to two separate HDMI output connections through advanced MST (multi-stream transport) technology. This allows a user to extend their desktop display to four screens and achieve resolutions of up to 4K (3840x2160 @ 30 Hz) on each connected monitor from any connected dual-head  DisplayPort computer.
