Indoor air quality management is an ever-more-important and overlooked area of business operations. Ensuring healthy employees, as well as healthy machines, minimizes disruption to your business.

This 4-in-1 environmental sensor monitors temperature, humidity, air pollution index, and static-air pressure.

Make sure temperature is within acceptable bounds with customized thresholds:
• In a data center, check your server inlet temperatures
• In the workplace, ensure OSHA compliance

Static-air pressure measurements in a data center can be used to control fan speeds and ensure correct air supply volumes. Balancing pressures reduces stress to servers, reduces maintenance costs, and fan energy.

By subtracting measurements of two static-air pressure sensors, a differential pressure is calculated. Use this to check pressure differences before and after transition points. Large pressure differences can signal issues such as blocked air filters.

The air pollution index tracks multiple pollutants, including Co2, NOx, and VOCs, and produces an air quality score. Monitor this over time and ensure the air quality score is stable or decreasing, as an increasing score signifies decreasing air quality.

Mounting
Air Pollution & Pressure Sensor (AQX4) comes standard with a 15 foot (460 cm) long cable that plugs into an AKCP monitoring appliance sensor port. The sensor can be pre-ordered with a longer cable (up to 100 feet) - see listing below*.
Air Pollution & Pressure Sensor (AQX4) comes standard with a (red) sticky-backed mounting. An optional magnetic mounting is also available (see listing below).
