Extend high-definition (HD) video and audio in a wired or wireless configuration from a source to one or more destinations.

The Emerge™ MPX1000 multipoint extender provides true digital picture and sound content delivery to displays for presentation and digital signage applications.

The Avocent Emerge MPX1000 HD multipoint extender solution provides wired or wireless connectivity for moving high-definition content from a source to one or more destinations incorporating High-Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI™) technology. High resolution VGA or HDMI/DVI computer graphics up to 1280 x 720 resolution, HD video including 720p, stereo audio, and control data are wirelessly transmitted to as many as eight wireless or wired receivers.

The MPX1000 HD multipoint extender includes a transmitter and receiver that provide high-definition media support for use in professional audio-visual applications. Audio-video synchronization is maintained at each display and all wirelessly connected receivers remain in lock step with each other. Additional interchangeable modules are available for input/output of analog signals including component video, computer graphics or digital HDMI/DVI signals.

System Components
• Transmitter – Transmits signal from the source to up to eight (8) MPX1000 Receivers.
• Transmitter Module – Available in either HDMI or VGA, a module must be inserted into a Transmitter to make it operable.
• Receiver – Receives signal from the MPX1000 Transmitter.
• Receiver Module – Available in either HDMI or VGA, a module must be inserted into a Receiver to make it operable.

System Control and Configuration
For system control and configuration, the Emerge MPX1000 extender solution is accessible through two primary user interfaces: an on-board web server that allows browser-based unit control and configuration, and a front panel display that provides push-button access to system status. The extenders allow for control of attached audio-visual equipment through RS-232 serial and infrared connections. The Emerge MPX1000 product is field upgradeable to support future functionality.
