ROC is a "dongle" that connects to the video, keyboard, and mouse ports of the server, replacing the traditional coax cable connecting the server to the KVM switch.

Standard CAT 5 cable runs between the ROC's RJ45 jack to the back of the KVM switch, significantly reducing cable bulk in the rack.

This CAT 5 connectivity technology allows the user to determine the desired length of the cable running from the server to the KVM switch, (up to 100 feet).
